About Chris

Chris Stone
Chris Stone is a British film and music video director and producer.

Initially a short film maker, Chris moved his work to the internet, instantly gaining a wider audience and building a global fan base. His web series 'Blood and Bone China', a twelve part Victorian vampire adventure, won 'Best Web Series of 2011' at the Indie Intertube Awards and has been viewed over 300,000 times on YouTube. 'Blood and Bone China' has since been re-cut into a feature film for DVD distribution.

Chris' work has been screened on the BBC, ITV and MTV and has premièred at the BFI Southbank, Pinewood Studios and Marseille Web Fest. His impressive array of films and stunning music videos has caught the eye of large media companies and Stone's work is expanding ever more into mainstream media.

Chris is known for his atmospheric and bold visual style. Though his films range widely in setting and period, they frequently showcase memorable stories with larger than life heroes and thrilling action sequences. His style has been largely influenced by glossy Hollywood blockbusters such as Star Wars, the James Bond series and the Indiana Jones movies.

Most recently, Chris has been in great demand giving seminars and practical lessons on film-making and web series production around the country, including at the UK's largest film festival Raindance.

Chris is currently in the process of writing a brand new feature film, ready for production in 2013.
